The 2009 4-H Volunteer Forum sponsored by the Kansas Association of 4-H Volunteers (KA4-HV), a part of Kansas Leadership Forum presented by 4-H, will focus on 4-H Building Leadership in youth and adults. Workshops and presentations will share resources and activities for “Tackling Leadership”.
Volunteer Forum will start Friday evening with a community service project for the Colmery-O’Neil Medical Center, Topeka, Hands on activities with Kansas 4-H Master Volunteers, a Snack based leadership development activity and social time.
Saturday morning the Forum will “Stick Your Clubs Together with Duct Tape”, then join KYLF for their speaker followed by consulting groups on Growing 4-H. Saturday afternoon will be workshops full of ideas to take home and use. Saturday evening is the Kansas Association of 4-H Volunteers annual meeting. Following the meeting there will be a fun and exciting 4-H Quiz Bowl/4-H Trivia activity and then Dutch oven cooked cobbler.

In memory of Julie Green, one of the founders of the KA4-HV. The scholarship is to assist a 4-H Volunteer to attend a State or Regional 4-H Volunteer Forum. Applications are due October 1. The scholarship is for $75.00 and will be reimbursed after attendance at the selected Forum.
