T-Shirt Logo Design Contest
Open to any Kansas 4-H Dog Care and Training Project Member
- Submit a design approximately 8x10 inches to the State 4-H Office by October 1, 2009
- Design can be hard copy or electronic (jadams@ksu.edu)
- Entries will be judged by K-State Graphic Artists
- Winning entry will receive a free Registration for 2009 Dog Conference at Rock Springs
Dog Photo Contest
Categories: Holiday Dogs, Kids and Dogs, Sport Dogs, Dogs and other Animals, Dog Portraits, Computer Manipulated Dog Pictures Rules:
- Limit one photo per category per person
- Size - 8x10 inches or smaller, matted or unmatted (3x5 minimum, no frame)
- Must be taken b 4-H Dog Project member
- Entry fee of $1.00 per photo to be donated to State 4-H Dog Action Team
- Enter Photos at Dog Conference Registration
- Photos on display until end of Dog Conference
- Name of participant and count on back of photo
Note:
- ALL dogs must go through health check - immunization card required
- Dog must be on leash or kept in crates at all times. No dogs on furniture or beds!
- Dogs in season are not allowed.
- Bring Doggie Bags - All dog solids must be bagged and put in trash cans.
- DO NOT under any circumstances take dogs near the horses!!!
Fees:
All registration fees should be paid at your local Extension Office by October 16, 2009 Costs:
Full-time: $65.00 (3 meals, registration, overnight, breaks) Saturday Only: $45.00 (2 meals, registration, no overnight) Sunday Only: $35.00 (1 meal, registration, quiz bowl)
Kansas 4-H Participation form doc
Kansas 4-H Participation Form is required for all participants (youth and adult) to be returned with registration fees! Your county delegation sponsor should also have copies of the 4-H Participation Form for each person. Adult 4-H Participation forms may be put in a sealed envelope.
ALL Youth must be chaperoned!
4-H Presentations (Jr. 7-12; Sr. 13 and older)
Any type of 4-H presentation on a dog topic can be presented. (Project Talk, Illustrated Talk, Demonstration, Impromptu). Each presenter will be judged accordingly using standard score sheets. Plan now to share your knowledge.
Two Dog Bowl Divisions
There will be a county dog bowl team division or the Open Division for Individuals. Counties wishing to enter four member teams, all from one county or district, may do so. All other individuals for Dog bowl will be randomly placed on Open Teams.
